We are looking for a Managing Director for the "Landesverband Nord" and the working group "Marine Equipment and Systems" based in Hamburg as part of a succession plan.

Your responsibilities

As Managing Director, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational management, and continuous development of the organization units in line with a service-oriented approach for the members.

You will represent the interests of the member companies to politics and the public in the federal states of Lower Saxony, Hamburg, Bremen, and Schleswig-Holstein, as well as at the state, federal, and EU level for the working group "Marine Equipment and Systems".

Together with a team of competent employees, you will manage the exchange of experience and the development and provision of specific industry knowledge.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and expanding the national and international network in business, science, and politics, as well as for trade fair, event, PR, and public relations work and research funding.


Your tasks will also include actively acquiring, supporting, and advising member companies, as well as further developing and digitalizing processes and service offerings.

In the course of your duties, you will promote and challenge your employees in line with modern management methods.

You will also work constructively with committees, other state and professional associations, and other organizational units within the overall association.

In this central management role, you will report directly and confidentially to the honorary boards
