- Design and maintain training curriculum for different roles within the company as it relates to product, process, tool, and other required training specific to each role.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts (internal and external) to develop training course content.
- Build out training courses utilizing and implementing different applicable training methods.
- Create quizzes and tests to accompany within course curriculum to ensure employee is adequately trained before progressing to the next level of training.
- Upload and manage courses on Bluevolt Learning Management System platform.
- Actively work with the management team to ensure all training curriculum and courses meet training needs and requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring that all training courses are up to date with latest industry standards, safety, and compliance.
- 1-3 years of training specialist work preferred
- Capable of synthesizing training material from a variety of sources.
- Prior experience with Bluevolt or similar Learning Management platform is a plus.
- Strong communication skills
- Organized initiative-taker who can work independently, execute quickly, move to the next task, and follow through.
- Deadline oriented and adept to priority setting with limited instruction.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Training Specialist
Dallas, TX
The Training Specialist is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing training curriculum and courses that will be used to educate employees and help them become more knowledgeable and effective at performing their job within Standard Supply – HVAC wholesale distribution company. The Training Specialist will work with subject matter experts to develop training content. Furthermore, the specialist will be required to utilize different methods to build the online training courses. This is a great opportunity to work with all levels of the company to manage the critical training function and build this function into a robust training academy.
