- Provide oversight and leadership to the engineering and maintenance teams, offering guidance, training, and mentorship.
- Develop, implement, and uphold preventative maintenance programs for all building systems, encompassing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, elevators, and other mechanical systems within the multi-building project.
- Strategically plan and manage budgets pertaining to building maintenance, repairs, and upgrades across all project buildings.
- Collaborate closely with property management, tenants, and vendors to promptly address maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and execute necessary repairs across all properties.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in building engineering and maintenance, with a focus on large-scale, mixed-use, multi-building projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and elevators.
- Demonstrated leadership and managerial capabilities, with the ability to effectively supervise and direct diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling professional interaction with tenants, property management, vendors, and local authorities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making aptitude, with a commitment to delivering efficient and cost-effective solutions.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes, regulations, and safety standards is essential.
