Reporting to Senior Site Manager, WA Operations
you will be accountable for ensuring products satisfy customer requirements, specifications, and delivery expectations through the leadership of production and despatch staff and processes.
You will be responsible for overseeing all operations to ensure they are conducted safely and cost-effectively to achieve key performance indicators for safety, quality, delivery, and cost, all within Bradken's established policies and procedures.
You will ensure that customer-centric, continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing resources, including personnel and materials, as well as planning and processing of products, are put into practice.
You will have a strategic mindset and will lead production & despatch operations at site to meet manufacturing and quality standards that achieve customer promise of price and time as well as the manufacturing objectives.
You'll focus on optimizing work processes and consistently analyse the current state to identify improvement opportunities for both yourself and your team.
Additionally, you'll be responsible for managing working capital and raw materials at agreed-upon levels while ensuring adherence to cost management procedures.
You'll engage in effective collaboration and communication with stakeholders across all levels. Additionally, you'll work closely with the maintenance team to address any concerns regarding the preventive maintenance schedule.Regular reporting on production and dispatch performance, conducted on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, will serve to showcase the fulfillment of both customer and manufacturing objectives.
As aKey Technical Criteria:
Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Engineering, Foundry industrial technology or a combination of relevant industry experience
Knowledge of production and manufacturing processes and techniques
