- Developing policies to handle delinquent accounts.
- Monitoring current market trends to identify new risks that may pose threats to Glow's finances.
- Build strong working relationships with all key suppliers.
- Reviewing loan applications to determine if applicants meet criteria for creditworthiness.
- Recommending changes to improve existing lending practices.
- Analysing fraud/risk exposure and recommending/implementing solutions to mitigate potential losses.
- Produce weekly/monthly performance reporting for Executive Committee.
- Become proficient in the use of the various software packages used by Glow.
- Monitoring compliance with local laws regarding lending practices
- 5 years plus commercial experience in a similar credit risk role.
- 5 years plus data analysis and underwriting experience.
- 5 years plus scorecard development and scorecard refinement experience.
- Detailed knowledge of US credit landscape (by state).
- Technical knowledge around credit risk analysis and the tools available for obtaining the necessary credit information.
- Experience of dealing with customers in a business to business environment and the ability to effectively analyse information received.
- Display an appreciation, understanding and interest in how business and the economy in general works.
- Capable of planning own work to achieve objectives.
- Good IT systems skills are needed.
- Ability to absorb information quickly and efficiently will be expected.
- Expected to work in a methodical manner with limited supervision.

Organisational Relationship VP - Credit Risk & Fraud
Location: US – East Coast
General Summary Working closely with the Group VP – Credit Risk and MD – US you will be responsible for managing the risk of our US division. The Credit Risk Manager will review, approve and monitor credit limits on new and existing client accounts, and prepare (and present) regular portfolio reports; as well as delivering on any assigned projects.
