Your Responsibilities:

Professional and disciplinary management of the logistics department (4 employees) including systemic processes and holistic implementation of company strategies in the logistics area
Realization of national and international shipping orders
Planning, monitoring and operational control of daily shipments
Other operational tasks such as checking incoming invoices and calculating freight and packaging costs
Compliance and assurance of export regulations in third countries
Realization and certification of other customs documents (customs, Chamber of Commerce)
Processing and checking of customs inquiries (Atlas)
Ensuring incoming and outgoing goods
Productivity improvement, determination of key figures and cost reduction
Compliance with guidelines for occupational safety/security, environmental protection and data protection
Establishment and maintenance of the key figure system
Process owner of logistics processes and monitoring compliance with guidelines
Proactive further development of processes with the aim of maintaining or increasing service levels while reducing costs
Identification, planning, application and implementation of resources to improve logistics processes

Your Profile:

Commercial training in the field of forwarding and/or logistics
Ideally a further qualification as a logistics master (m/f/d) or a similar qualification
Several years of professional experience in the following areas of logistics:
Logistics planning
Material management / material provision
Shipping
Freight logistics
Incoming goods
Customs clearance
Logistics processing
Experience in personnel management combined with a focus on key figures
Effective and motivating leadership personality
