- Produces designs which may include highway design including horizontal and vertical geometry design, cross section design, stormwater collection and management facilities design, erosion control design and maintenance of traffic design.
- Produces technical letters/reports such as design memorandums and calculation books.
- Produces permitting applications for the client agencies as well as state and federal permitting agencies.
- Performs field reviews.
- Identifies, develops and implements technical tools, techniques, software, materials and processes to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Actively contributes ideas, expertise and recommendations based upon industry knowledge.
- Assists the Project Manager and participates in client, agency, and consultant meetings.
- Travels locally to client, consultant, job site, agency and work locations, as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, related field or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
- EI certification is preferred.
