- Support the school's mission by fostering a love of learning, respect for self and others, a faith in God, and a sense of service to the world community.
- Supervise day-to-day activities of the office of enrollment management, specifically regarding upper and middle school admissions, recruitment, and retention.
- Develop, implement, and oversee the financial assistance award policies, strategies and notification process, and off-cycle financial assistance inquiries.
- Collaborate with the CFO and business office to ensure financial assistance processes and strategic initiatives meet the school community's needs.
- Prepare and deliver presentations regarding marketing, enrollment, and financial assistance trends.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan and execute recruitment and retention strategies for the school.
- Partner with upper and middle academic divisions to manage recruitment, enrollment, and retention processes.
- Collaborate with the Enrollment Management and Marketing and Communications teams to plan, develop, and execute proactive print and digital communication programs designed to engage with current and prospective families throughout the enrollment and reenrollment process using multi-channel communication strategies.
- Develop data management processes to enable strategic use of internal and external market data.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to determine enrollment capacity and target demographics.
- Participate in school-wide enrollment selection committee.
- Proven experience in or familiarity with independent school culture, values, and educational philosophy.
- Previous experience in admissions, enrollment management, and financial assistance administration in an independent school setting.
- Customer service focus with a strong aptitude for maintaining a positive demeanor in all interactions.
- Demonstrated ability to review and prioritize work to take appropriate actions without advance approval, set priorities, and meet deadlines while ensuring close attention to detail.
- Effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously employing strong project management skills.
- Outstanding communication skills (written, oral, listening, and public speaking) including the ability to forge and reinforce effective relationships with internal/external constituencies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with CRM software applications, prior experience with Ravenna or similar system preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet, social media, and e-mail applications.
- Ability to travel locally and regionally.
- Bachelor's degree required, with a preference for a degree in education, business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5-7 years prior experience in enrollment management or financial assistance in an independent school setting.
- Certified Enrollment Management Professional (CEMP) designation strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years prior experience managing and supervising department staff.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background screening, drug testing and safety training required.
