    JOB SUMMARY:

    This position involves outside sales activities to promote the company's products and services while fostering relationships with new and existing accounts. The primary aim is to assist Sysco customers in succeeding while meeting the company's sales and profit targets. This role may entail working unconventional hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays) to effectively address customer needs. The territory assigned for this role is Las Vegas, NV.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Acquire new business, expand within existing accounts, and reduce lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and special goals within the designated territory.
    • Identify and qualify prospects in line with company account stratification objectives.
    • Study customer business requirements and recommend a mix of products and services to meet those needs.
    • Analyze market trends and propose products based on customer business objectives.
    • Stay updated on market conditions, product advancements, and competitors' offerings to provide customers with value-added information.
    • Address customer queries regarding products, prices, availability, and usage.
    • Offer product information and practical training to customer staff.
    • Travel to customer accounts, conventions, company meetings, etc., using a personal vehicle.
    • Handle accounts receivable, coordinate with the credit department and clients, and collect outstanding balances as per approved credit terms.
    • Ensure timely deliveries following the transportation department's schedule, and troubleshoot any order-related issues (e.g., out-of-stock items, special orders, low inventory).
    • Engage in company events, promotions, customer visits, and customer functions.
    • Participate in general sales and district meetings.
    • Attend regular training sessions.
    • Assist in training new employees as required.
    • Analyze daily and weekly reports such as special-order requests, customer bid files, and sales/gross profit margin data.
    • Perform administrative tasks like preparing sales budgets and reports, maintaining sales records, processing credits and pick-up requests, generating sales quotes and menu suggestions, and filing reports.
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Required Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field OR HSD/GED and 3 years of experience in Restaurant Management, B2B, or outside sales, or equivalent.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bilingual in Mandarin and Filipino.
    • Preference for experience in Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, or Chef roles.

    Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
    • Current automobile insurance meeting specified liability limits.

    Requirement:

    • Completion of pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check).
    • Agreement to Sysco Protective Covenants.
    • Residence in or willingness to relocate to the specified territory.
