    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Support Company's safety culture and take a lead role in Turnaround Health & Safety activities.
    • Serve as Safety liaison for internal or external parties during Turnaround.
    • Conduct hazard assessments for Turnaround activities.
    • Minimize potential losses and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies, standards, procedures, and practices.
    • Collaborate with operations and management to foster a strong safety culture.
    • Provide on-site safety guidance and assistance to ensure appropriate controls and resources are in place.
    • Act as a facility resource to personnel providing coaching, mentoring, and advice on all OSHA related matters.
    • Communicate emerging safety issues to Safety Leadership, Operations and Project Teams, and work collaboratively with all parties involved to ensure appropriate mitigations are in place.
    • Review and assist with incident investigations, reporting, and follow-up actions.
    • Act as goal-oriented safety leader capable of working productively and independently within a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
    • Manage multiple safety priorities simultaneously and adapt to the time demands of unpredictable and rapid schedule changes.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5 years of industry experience, with the majority of time spent in Safety-related roles.
    • Prior Turnaround experience is required, please include on resume.
    • Strong knowledge of applicable industry safety requirements, standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Working knowledge of MS Office and demonstrated aptitude working with other business-related computer programs and applications.
    • Valid Driver's License is required.
