- Identify and cultivate prospects for Total Polymer solutions, focusing on regional Engineering firms and Owner/Developers to enhance awareness of Uponor products.
- Collaborate with National Business Development Manager-Engineering to facilitate the transition from product specification to installation at the regional level.
- Engage closely with regional Commercial account managers to strengthen relationships with contractors and support project completion from design to execution phase.
- Conduct product and installation training as needed to bolster sales objectives.
- Coordinate with Uponor's construction services team to create integrated system designs.
- Maintain accurate account information, tracking progress, and monitoring defined sales KPI's.
- Explore opportunities to contribute to business success through proactive involvement in team initiatives. Execute other assigned duties as required.
- Essential: A bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated success in major account sales and the construction sector.
- Excellent communication, planning, and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in presentation and public speaking.
- Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration for shared objectives.

Description
The Business Development Manager - Engineering role is key within our company, responsible for identifying and pursuing sales opportunities in the region for our polymer piping systems. This includes promoting Uponor's PP-RCT and PEX offerings, connecting with engineering firms, key developers, and owners to raise awareness about our solutions and foster their use in regional projects. Additionally, this position involves gathering project pipeline details from targeted firms and developers, providing design input, and supporting product development for our commercial market teams.
Key responsibilities encompass linking developer and engineer pipelines with commercial account managers to drive sales, acting as a Fusion Training Facilitator, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert for projects using PP-RCT in the region.
This sales leader will need to excel in technical and interpersonal skills, effectively communicating the value of our industry-leading PEX and innovative PP-RCT solutions to meet customer requirements uniquely. This is a fully remote position, ideal for candidates located in either Denver or Seattle, WA.
