    Executive Assistant, AWS Customer Data Applications and Advertising - Seattle, United States - Amazon

    Description
    We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join our team.

    This role requires attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple critical requests across regional teams.

    The Executive Assistant will act as a seamless extension of director's and will work closely with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization.

    The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, experienced planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility and composure.


    The individual in this role must understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements to build capacity for the leadership team.

    A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information as well as professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company is critical.

    The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly and autonomously, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the whole picture.

    The ideal candidate must be able to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside the group.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Management of complex calendar and scheduling to support teams in multiple locations in multiple time zones
    • Ability to look around corners and anticipate needs or areas for improvement
    • Act as a trusted business partner to Director and management
    • Manage expense reports and possible domestic and international travel
    • Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events)
    • Management of team space, including moves and re-configurations
    • Work closely with the leadership team, recruiting and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization
    • Have fun at work and help others do the same
    A day in the life


    As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of critical activities including complex calendar management, tracking key deliverables, coordinating travel and expenses, and organizing team activities and events (such as all-hands meetings and employee engagement activities).

    Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating meeting agendas, space planning, and ad hoc project coordination.

    A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important.

    In this role, you'll have the opportunity to act as an extension of our leaders in partnership with a supportive and collaborative EA community.

    AWS Applications and Higher Level Abstractions (Apps) provides horizontal and industry vertical applications for

    business users with the same on-demand scalability, reliability, pay-as-you-go pricing, and machine learning expertise

    that drive AWS services. The AWS Applications group includes services such as Amazon Connect (a cost-effective cloud

    contact center), our End User Computing (including Amazon Workspaces, AppStream, etc.), Marketing Tech (Amazon

    Pinpoint), and Autonomous Checkout and Biometric Identity Services (Just Walk Out, Amazon One) for retail, sports,

    travel, and other verticals.

    Basic Qualifications

    • 3+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience
    • High school or equivalent diploma
    • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
    • Experience with executive level calendar management
    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in a fastpaced, hightech company
    • Experience managing multiple calendars

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

    The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market.

    Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

    Amazon is a total compensation company.

    Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
