    Thriving Large Scale Construction Company Seeks Experienced Construction Office Bookkeeper

    Main Office is Based in Totowa, NJ


    About Us:


    We are a busy and fast growing construction company focused on providing top quality buildings to the New York and New Jersey area.

    We mainly take on public projects such as schools, municipal, county and state owned buildings. Project sizes are typically between $1,000,000 and $10,000,000.


    About the position:
    Responsibilities for Construction Bookkeeper

    Recording bank statements in QuickBooks

    Entering Bills in QuickBooks

    Tracking Bills and Paying Vendors through QuickBooks

    Running Weekly Payroll for employees

    Filing and Paying Taxes in QuickBooks

    Accounts Receivable and Payable responsibilities

    Assist the owner with operational tasks.


    Administrative duties include answering inquiries from potential and current clients, filing, faxing, emailing, scheduling appointments, handling other tasks as needed.

    Who are we looking for?

    We want to work with someone who is friendly, very communicative, and has great attention to detail. You must be someone who can handle multiple tasks and assignments at the same time. You should have experience working in a construction office as every task will be construction related.

    You should be a team player, follow direction and be a hard worker. You should have a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and be punctual.


    QuickBooks experience is a major requirement for this position since the bulk of your responsibilities will be in the Bookkeeping of the office.

    Qualifications for Construction Bookkeeper:

    3-5 Years experience in Construction Office Management

    3-5 Years experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

    3-5 Years experience in Bookkeeping

    3-5 Years experience in Payroll

    Bachelor's Degree Preferred but not required

    2 Years QuickBooks experience required

    Microsoft Office Suite experience


    Compensation:
    $55,000-$75,000 Annually Depending On Experience

    M-F 9am-5:00pm
