- Require the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Property Manager, with a strong background in supervision and leadership.
- Expertise in NY rent regulations, rent stabilization, local law compliance, and LIHTC.
- Responsibilities include managing vacancy and renewal leases, landlord-tenant legal processes, tenant relations, rent roll, contracts, work orders, building registrations, insurance compliance, and coordination with the accounting department.
- Supervise superintendents and porters, oversee vendors and construction contractors, ensure compliance with billing laws, manage repairs and maintenance, and respond promptly to emergency calls.
- We are seeking a proactive leader with industry experience who can effectively lead a team and handle emergencies as the primary point of contact.
- This position requires on-site presence five days a week.
- Ensure compliance with New York rent regulations, rent stabilization, Local Law compliance, with experience in LIHTC compliance as a strong advantage.
- Manage lease renewals, vacancies, and landlord-tenant legal procedures.
- Handle all tenant relations, rent roll management, including rent and deposit collections, lease renewals, vacancies, and legal matters.
- Oversee maintenance contracts, work orders, building and apartment registrations, and other cyclical processes.
- Monitor insurance compliance for retail and commercial tenants, and facilitate collaboration with the accounting and bookkeeping departments.
