Job Type Full-timeDescriptionAVENUTM is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to support the Avenu platform (a Bank as a Service (BaaS) platform).

We need a dynamic Quality Assurance Engineer to partner with our cross functional teams to certify Avenu internal platform, subsystems and infrastructure.

This is a Hybrid position based in our Sterling, VA office.

Must have in-depth knowledge in Postman, ReadyAPI testing toolsRole:The position will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of the Avenu platform.

The role requires excellent analytical and communication skills and a passion for learning and working with new, state of the art software/technology.

The role will focus on risk and compliance test plans and creating automated, functional, regression, load and performance tests.

Responsibilities:

Execute all levels of testing (Functional, Integration, Regression, load and performance)Identify risks, issues, potential defects, or defects in any phase of the project life cycle, managing them through closure(Report, track and resolve defects in JIRA)Estimate, prioritize, plan, perform and document test execution resultsWrite functional test cases in Postman collections.

Develop and maintain a regression testing strategy for supported applicationsDevelop and maintain test automation frameworksTriage and help troubleshoot production issues.

RequirementsRequirements:

This is a hybrid position and based in our Sterling, Virginia officeOver 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with both manual and automated testing3+ years of experience in testing microservices and APIsMust have in-depth knowledge in Postman, ReadyAPI testing tools.

3+ years of experience writing and maintaining automated tests in JavaExperience with performance and/or security testing is a plusFamiliarity with working in an Agile environmentFamiliarity with at least one major cloud provider like Google or AWSExperience with source control systems like git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelineExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environmentExcellent organizational skills coupled with a strong team player presenceDedicated to champion the customer problem until resolutionExcellent time management skills and a strong sense of urgencyExperience supporting SaaS applications, Partner APIs, and API DocumentationYou'll be a great fit if you:
