At the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT in Aachen, we work with more than 530 employees every day to make the production of the future more digital, sustainable and resilient. As part of our interdisciplinary team in the field of production metrology, you will work on new software solutions for individual measuring systems. The areas of application for our measuring systems range from quality assurance in production, for example in the production of plastic optics, to the monitoring of medical implants.

What you will do

  • You will develop software solutions for interferometric measuring systems for our customers and clients
  • In a team, you will develop innovative solutions for various requirements such as system control, data and signal processing, or the graphical user interface
  • Together with your colleagues, you will acquire, coordinate and work on national and international industry and research projects
  • You will present your research results to our clients and participate in workshops and seminars

What you bring

  • Successfully completed university studies (Master's, Diploma) in computer science, computational engineering science (CES),
