We are seeking an experienced Web Develop Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development and maintenance of the National Institute of Aging public websites.
While this position is remote, strong preference will be given to candidates in the Washington, DC-Metro area with directexperience within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage web development projects will involve overseeing the entire development process of a website or web application. This includes planning, organizing, and coordinating the work of a team of developers, designers, quality assurance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the desired level of quality
Coordinate web hosting, manage, support, and maintain NIA public websites using Drupal or other approved CMS.
Ensure ongoing secure hosting, management, and maintenance of NIA Internet sites in compliance with federal government regulations and guidelines.
Provide technical support for the Drupal Content Management System (CMS).
Update, manage, and support NIA public websites, including features, enhancements, and content updates.
Collaborate with other NIA contractors to deploy updated code bases on scheduled sprint deployments.
Ensure that NIA websites are functioning properly and reliably and meet the up-time standards of the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Establish and maintain appropriate security measures to protect the integrity of the websites, their content, and related data files.Requirements:
Bachelors degree in relevant field
At least 5 years of experience managing complex web design and development projects, including database development, website and app development, and search engine optimization projects.
