    Description

    Summary

    This position is located in the Security Integration & Technology Directorate, Mission Integration Directorate, Training Division, Range and Armory Branch. The Training Division is responsible for advancing the professional development of Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA)'s law enforcement and civilian personnel engaged in the safeguarding of the Pentagon's workforce, visitors, and properties. This position manages the operational aspects of all PFPA's armories.

    Duties

    Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following:
  • Ensures PFPA is in compliance with all appropriate regulations governing the storage and accountability of weapons and ammunition.
  • Acts as the assistant Contract Officer Representative for the weapons, ammunition, and range maintenance contracts and drafts/amends Standard Operating Procedures as related to Armory Operation at the Pentagon and Raven Rock Mountain Complex.
  • Ensures there is adequate inventory of spare/replacement parts for all PFPA weapon systems at all times.
  • Leads a team of subject matter experts assembled to develop/revise assigned courses and related work associated with assignments to organize and coordinate with other PFPA directorates.
  • Periodically observes classroom instruction and evaluates instructors to ensure academic excellence is maintained.
