- Support the Senior Human Resources Specialists by performing the full range of clerical support duties for staffing projects.
- Provide guidance and assistance to supervisors, managers, and employees on a variety of HR matters.
- Review Human Resources documents; varied correspondence for accuracy and regulatory adherence; and request additional documentation as needed.
- Update records to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
- Prepare and distribute a variety of applicant form letters.
- Contact internal and external stakeholders within HR and throughout the DEA to verify data.
- Monitor output from HR systems and complete actions to correct any errors.
- Use Microsoft Office to develop spreadsheets, tracking tools, reports, and presentations.
- Provide office support functions such as answer the phone, distribute the mail, maintain calendars, document scan, and coordinate meetings and reserve conference rooms.
- A minimum of 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 Federal grade level performing duties of an HR Administrative Support.
- Demonstrated understanding of Office of Personnel Management (OPM) guidelines and processes.
- Active Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.
