    Description

    POSITION TITLE:
    Product Development Specialist


    POSITION PURPOSE:
    This Product Development Specialist is responsible for the initiation of technical packages to vendors from prototypes through production.

    The Specialist holds responsibility for ensuring the consistency of the fit, specification, quality and construction of the product are up to GUESS standards.

    Assist in all duties related to any and all functions of the Design department.

    Grow and develop personal understanding of the Design department from conception to execution in order to complete the tech pack.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    Establish specifications and construction requirements for each garment type as per GUESS standards. Work with Designers to develop tech pack to input into the system. Review and revise the tech pack with the Design team. Update and maintain design/sketch boards on a daily basis. Input and update information into design systems. Assist team in tracking and facilitating approvals for lab dips with the lab. Maintain basic filing system by setting up folders. Send/receive/check all packages and distributions when needed.

    Associate Degree
