    Professional Search Group (PSG) is seeking a Human Resources Generalist the join an amazing team The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, training and development, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR best practices, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work on many projects at once. This is for a non-profit, national trade association supporting motorcyclists in the U.S. by representing manufacturers, distributors, dealers and retailers of motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, ROVs, motorcycle/ATV/ROV parts, accessories and related goods and services, and members of allied trades such as insurance, finance and others with a commercial interest in the industry. Since 1970, this non-profit and its member companies seek to keep motorcycling fun, accessible and safe for motorcyclists, and to promote motorcycling's positive image of serious fun and a responsible, environmentally friendly mode of transportation.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Recruitment and Onboarding

    • with the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
    • new employee onboarding activities, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and processing new hire paperwork.
    • or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.

    Employee Relations:

    • as a point of contact for employee inquiries, issues, and concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • with employee disciplinary actions, investigations, and conflict resolution, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

    Payroll & Benefits Administration:

    • bi-weekly payroll ensuring adherence to all federal and state regulations.
    • employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries, and serve as a liaison with benefit providers.

    Training and Development:

    • and track employee training programs, workshops, and professional development initiatives.
    • with the development of training materials and resources and maintain training records and certifications.

    HR Compliance:

    • current on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all HR practices.
    • with HR audits, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements, maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.

    HRIS Management:

    • TriNet to maintain employee data, process changes, generate reports, and streamline HR workflows.
    • with system updates, user training, and troubleshooting as needed.

    General HR:

    • knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
    • routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
    • employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

    Required Education/Experience/Credentials:

    • degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
    • years of experience in HR roles, with exposure to various HR functions
    • understanding of HR laws, Federal & State regulations, and best practices
    • communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
    • to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
    • in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software
    • certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
