Classic Industries, located in Huntington Bleach, the industry leader in restoration parts and accessories for classic cars and trucks, has an
immediate opening for a Human Resources Generalist.

The Human Resources Generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities working closely with all departments taking on a broad range of HR-related responsibilities.

This position reports directly to senior management.

Responsibilities:

Administer compensation and benefit plans
Support the recruitment and staffing process
Implement training and development plans
Implement new hire orientation plans
Conduct employee onboarding
Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization
Recommend and develop employee relations practices
Lead all employee investigations
Handle employee grievances and discipline
Organize annual employee evaluations and performance reviews
Develop employee engagement and development strategy
Collect and analyze data HR data for management reports
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
Update employee handbook as required
Ensure legal compliance with labor regulations and employment laws (National and California)
Interface with legal counsel as required

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of relevant human resources experience
Solid understanding of HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, compensation / benefits administration, training, employee engagement and development, compliance, performance reviews, etc
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven success working in an HR department
Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail
Knowledge of various HR software and Microsoft Office programs

Pay:

- $55,000 - $68,000 annually

Pay based upon job skills and work experience
