    JOB SUMMARY

    Quickly and efficiently provide high quality coffee service to guests in a warm, professional, and accommodating manner. Quickly and efficiently complete all side-work and opening and closing duties associated with position responsibilities. Maintain a positive work environment and a positive working relationship with coworkers. Exceed our guests' service standards and expectations, while adhering to direction from management.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


    Meet all performance expectations and comply with all Company policies as set forth in the Employee Handbook including, but not limited to all performance, attendance, and conduct requirements
    Maintain a positive, high, well-balanced energy level throughout the entire shift
    Have strong interpersonal communication skills in order to greet guests, answer guest questions and address guest concerns in a warm, professional, and accommodating manner
    Set up the coffee cart in designated outdoor location
    Politely greet guests and process orders accurately and efficiently
    Prepare and serve of variety of high-quality coffee beverages
    Make all in house syrups
    Create new and seasonal drink menus and promotions
    Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment
    Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups and other supplies, replenishing stock as needed
    Display understanding of manuals and successfully complete all training tests
    Exhibit consistently dependable, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy conduct
    Provide exemplary guest service on a consistent basis
    Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
    Prepare and serve pour-over coffee beverages according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation

    Create craft syrups in house
    Create seasonal new syrup flavors and drinks
    Complete any and all assigned cleaning duties, including stocking and organization
    Follow all proper cash handling procedures and guidelines
    Assist the management team with guest relations for day-to-day operations
    Attend all department meetings and training seminars as requested or assigned
    Any additional responsibilities as directed by the Department Manager or MOD


    SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY


    Knowledge of Teamwork and Toast POS system
    Ability to read, write and speak the English language to interact with guests, the public, and coworkers
    Proficient verbal communication skills
    Ability to work under pressure and professionally deal with stressful situations during busy periods in a loud, busy,
    and crowded environment
    Strong interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction
    Superior attention to detail
    Excellent organizational skills
    Ability to multitask
    Ability to interact professionally at all times with guests, management team and coworkers
    Must have knowledge of all required legal documents, i.e., A.B.C., Health Department, Police, City, Etc.


    QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
    Education
    High School Diploma or GED equivalent optional


    Experience
    Minimum of one years' experience as a barista or specialty coffee professional. Knowledge in pour-over coffee is a plus


    Age
    Must be at least 18 years old


    Licenses or Certificates
    Food Handlers Card
    ABC Service Certification
    CPR certification and/or First Aid training preferred

    GROOMING
    All employees must wear the proper uniform and maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance in accordance with the Company's grooming standards.


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING ENVIRONMENT
    Must be able to work in an environment with constantly elevated temperatures
    Must be able to work and move quickly in a tight-space environment in a safe manner without disrupting other
    employees
    Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.

    Compensation: $16.85/hour plus tips
