Barista

Duties:

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop
Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
Assist with food preparation, such as sandwiches, pastries, and snacks
Ensure all drink orders are made to customer specifications
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:

Previous experience in a food service or retail environment is preferred
Strong math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
Knowledge of basic math for measuring ingredients and calculating recipe proportions
Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and multitask effectively
Strong attention to detail for accurately preparing beverages to customer specifications
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
