SSOE is seeking aProject Director
to lead and mentor a team of experts in delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients.
This pivotal role involves shaping the future of advanced industrial, semiconductor, biotech, healthcare, and pharmaceutical facilities for leading high-tech companies.
The Project Director will closely collaborate with clients, engineering teams, and professionals to ensure projects not only meet but exceed industry standards.
A passion for cutting-edge technology is essential, as the Project Director's expertise will be instrumental in ensuring quality, compliance, and innovation in our designs.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight for C&Q activities throughout the project lifecycle from initiation to closeout.
Oversee, coordinate, and provide detailed field commissioning services for various facilities, including laboratories, cleanrooms, manufacturing, and pilot plants, while also mentoring and training team members.
Review functional, design and testing documentation from suppliers/contractors to ensure compliance to cGMP and Good Documentation Practices.Coordinates with various disciplines within the organization to collaborate, optimize, and improve work and staff sharing by participating in multi-discipline strategy sessions.
Identify strengths and weaknesses of department personnel to prioritize training needs and develop / implement a training program.Identifies, champions, mentors, and coaches the development of the staff and looks for ways to elevate the technical and professional expertise of the team.
Assists upper level management in articulating discipline capability requirements in support of strategic and business objectives.Facilitating and supervising the evaluation and employee relations duties, such as workforce planning / staffing, hiring, career development, advancement, and performance management.
Qualifications:
The desired candidate will be ambitious and flexible; have a talent for efficiency and process improvement, as well as a strong desire to succeed.
Demonstrate strong leadership with exceptional organizational and planning skills to effectively direct, manage, and mentor a team through the execution of the C&Q process.
Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while excelling in a collaborative team environment and mentoring team members effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Experience coordinating with both owners and contractors as well as the ability to lead project meetings are necessary.Ability to read and understand building drawings, specifications, and submittals.
Salary Range:
$140,000 - $170,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
