    SSOE is seeking a Project Director to lead and mentor a team of experts in delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients. This pivotal role involves shaping the future of advanced industrial, semiconductor, biotech, healthcare, and pharmaceutical facilities for leading high-tech companies. The Project Director will closely collaborate with clients, engineering teams, and professionals to ensure projects not only meet but exceed industry standards. A passion for cutting-edge technology is essential, as the Project Director's expertise will be instrumental in ensuring quality, compliance, and innovation in our designs.

    Responsibilities:
    • Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight for C&Q activities throughout the project lifecycle from initiation to closeout.
    • Oversee, coordinate, and provide detailed field commissioning services for various facilities, including laboratories, cleanrooms, manufacturing, and pilot plants, while also mentoring and training team members.
    • Review functional, design and testing documentation from suppliers/contractors to ensure compliance to cGMP and Good Documentation Practices.
    • Coordinates with various disciplines within the organization to collaborate, optimize, and improve work and staff sharing by participating in multi-discipline strategy sessions.
    • Identify strengths and weaknesses of department personnel to prioritize training needs and develop / implement a training program.
    • Identifies, champions, mentors, and coaches the development of the staff and looks for ways to elevate the technical and professional expertise of the team.
    • Assists upper level management in articulating discipline capability requirements in support of strategic and business objectives.
    • Facilitating and supervising the evaluation and employee relations duties, such as workforce planning / staffing, hiring, career development, advancement, and performance management.
    Qualifications:
    • The desired candidate will be ambitious and flexible; have a talent for efficiency and process improvement, as well as a strong desire to succeed.
    • Demonstrate strong leadership with exceptional organizational and planning skills to effectively direct, manage, and mentor a team through the execution of the C&Q process.
    • Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while excelling in a collaborative team environment and mentoring team members effectively.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Experience coordinating with both owners and contractors as well as the ability to lead project meetings are necessary.
    • Ability to read and understand building drawings, specifications, and submittals.
    • Salary Range: $140,000 - $170,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
