    Description:
    The instrumentation Engineer will contribute to the design and/or redesign and development of electric vehicles and vehicle systems.


    Responsibilities:
    Oversee technicians during the prototype fabrication and testing phases.

    Oversee the daily workflow of the department

    Analyzes current equipment; identifies areas of inefficiency and needs for improvement; designs and develops instrumentation to meet those needs.


    Collaborates with other engineers to develop accurate, efficient equipment and instrumentation in accordance with safety and usability standards and client expectations.

    Designs and tests prototypes

    Oversees the implementation of control systems, ensuring correct installation and proper testing.

    Acts as project engineer for design, prototype fabrication, and manufacturing development.

    Drafts and presents formal technical documents, reports, and testing results to manager for approval.

    Drafts technical manuals for instrumentation.

    Provides training to employees and/or customers.

    Performs other duties as assigned.


    Requirements:
    Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering

    Minimum 2 years of practical experience.

    Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

    Through understanding of test methods.

    Previous automotive experience (electric/autonomous vehicles a plus)

    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

    Proficient with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
