- Manages payment application process to ensure payments are properly coded to customer's accounts timely.
- Handles a portfolio of customer correspondence regarding payment status, invoice requests and inquiries, including researching and resolving accounts receivable issues with account managers and customers.
- Issue customer credit memos, ensuring appropriate back up documentation is included and proper approvals.
- Manages the collection process and ensures customers adhere to their credit limits.
- Supports customer data including setting up customers properly in the system and work to keep data clean and up to date.
- Reconcile customer statements.
- Follow up with emails and phone calls to collect on past due accounts.
- 2-3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience in AR
- ideally previous experience in construction
- Very Proficient using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
