    Description

    Merchandise Selection:
    Curate a diverse and appealing product assortment by identifying market trends, customer preferences, and seasonal demand fluctuations.

    Supplier Relations:

    Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to ensure optimal inventory levels and quality products.


    Pricing Strategy:
    Set competitive pricing for products, regularly analyzing pricing data to maximize sales and profitability.

    Inventory Management:
    Oversee inventory levels, making data-driven decisions to optimize stock turnover while minimizing overstock and stockouts.

    Sales Analysis:
    Analyze sales data, market trends, and historical performance to make informed decisions regarding product assortment and promotional strategies.

    Vendor Evaluation:
    Continuously evaluate and assess vendor performance, product quality, and adherence to contractual agreements.

    Budget Management:
    Develop and manage the annual merchandise budget, monitoring expenses and revenues to achieve financial targets.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Collaborate with various departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to align buying decisions with the company's overall goals and strategies.


    Risk Management:
    Identify potential risks and challenges related to product procurement and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
    Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related roles
    Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms
    Proficient in using supply chain management software and e-commerce platforms
    Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
    Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
    Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
