    Description
    FPC of Hendersonville is a national search firm focused on connecting high-quality candidates to companies in supply chain/manufacturing.

    Currently, we are seeking Senior Buyers to be part of an exciting transformation process for an innovative global manufacturer with a solid footprint in their industry.


    Job Responsibilities:


    Procures materials and manages production schedules for timely customer deliveries, coordinating with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Procurement to ensure on-time delivery.

    Establishes Just-In-Time delivery schedules with suppliers, maintains accurate purchase order lines, and resolves inventory discrepancies.

    Provides regular material forecasts to support production planning, minimize freight costs, and optimize inventory.

    Manages data parameters to minimize excess material and shortages, negotiates cost improvements, and publishes performance metrics.

    What they are looking for in a candidate:

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science/Business/Supply Chain preferred.

    10+ years related experience in supply planning/purchasing in a manufacturing setting with experience in a sheet metal/metal mechanic industry.

    Highly proficient with Excel and all Microsoft Office applications.

    MRP/ERP experience desirable.
