Responsibilities and Duties:

Pro-samed is a leading regional network for health care in pharmacies and medical supply stores.

We provide comprehensive care for severely ill patients - from medication to medical supplies, patients receive all necessary services from one source.

The GmbH within the network bundles and coordinates the services of the affiliated companies.

We are currently seeking a Head of Accounting (m/f/d) for pro-samed GmbH in North Lawrence, OH.

Your specific tasks will include:

Ensuring, coordinating, and improving process flows in the areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial accounting
Independently handling (special) accounting transactions when necessary
Preparation and analysis of monthly reports (balance sheets and cash flow) and communication with management
Ensuring and participating in the timely preparation of annual financial statements according to HGB for all network companies
Comprehensive support of external (operational) audits for all companies
Communication and collaboration with tax consultants, banks, insurance companies, and authorities
Professional and disciplinary management of the sixperson finance team

Skills and Qualifications:

Successfully completed business studies, preferably with a focus on accounting and controlling, or a comparable qualification
Previous professional and, if applicable, leadership experience in the field of finance and accounting, preferably in the healthcare sector
Proficient in balance sheets and controlling instruments, as well as experience with key figures and economic considerations
Entrepreneurial and processoriented thinking and acting, problemsolving
