Maintenance Specialist III

Perform complex maintenance and construction tasks
Conduct inspections, adjustments, installations, and repairs
Maintain and repair buildings, utility systems, and equipment
Complete work order records and communicate effectively with team members
Provide training and guidance as needed
Perform assigned duties and support disaster response efforts

Essential Job Functions:

Attend work regularly and follow assigned schedules
Conduct maintenance and repair work on building systems
Use hand tools and equipment proficiently
Renovate buildings and select appropriate materials for repairs
Maintain safe operations and test safety equipment
Keep accurate records of work orders and projects
Operate heavy machinery when necessary
Train and guide others on repair procedures

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of building maintenance and operations
Skills in using hand and power tools
Ability to perform maintenance and estimate materials
Ability to interpret drawings and work independently or in a team
Problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities
