Description
Job Description:
The Systems Support Specialist III responsibilities include performing software installations, diagnosing intricate hardware, software, and network issues, and providing support via phone calls or email. Maintaining technical expertise by staying updated on hardware, software, telephony, and network configurations. Identifying and resolving recurring problems, participating in user acceptance testing, and training automation support staff. Also, overseeing daily operations and working on a flexible schedule. Travel may be necessary.
Essential Job Functions:
- Knowledge of information systems/technology processes, troubleshooting techniques, and call center/help desk environment;
- Skills in technical documentation, translating technical information for non-technical audiences, and obtaining information under stress;
- Ability to keep up with technical updates, research information, work in a team or independently, type efficiently, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
