    Position Overview


    Finance & Strategy is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Financial Operations team to support the Record to Report function.

    Position Description

    Understands and applies accounting principles, processes, and practices
    Act as Subject Matter Expert for CAPEX and Capitalized Software accounting and Oracle Cloud Fusion Projects module
    Ability to analyze complex accounting transactions and prepare related journal entries to support the period-end close
    Able to complete Balance Sheet account analysis and roll forwards of account activities
    Able to analyze, reconcile and resolve differences in transactions related to intercompany activity (identify differences, prepare correcting journal entries, drive follow-up actions to completion)
    Able to perform variance analysis for comparative periods in balance sheet and P&L accounts
    Provide oversight and review balance sheet reconciliations, entries and period-end closing tasks of Business Process Outsourcing team members
    Drives to understand and interpret business needs
    Strengthens and maintains efficiency of the accounting function through review of processes and procedures and implementation of process improvements
    Makes recommendations to improve processes and process documentation
    Preparation of working papers and supporting documentation for external and internal audit reviews
    Able to work and prepare files with high volume of transactions and different sources of information

    Qualifications

    Position Requirements

    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Required)
    Advanced fluency in English
    5-7 years of Accounting experience, including experience as a senior accountant
    Strong understanding of Accounting Principles
    Oracle Cloud Fusion experience preferred
    Ability to make sound decisions based on data and analysis
    Innovative problem solving skills
    Detail Orientated with strong analytical skills & proactive profile
    Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
