    Role Description:

    The Deal Desk Manager will play a pivotal role in our Go-to-Market and pricing strategy to drive company growth and operational efficiency. This individual will support deal execution from analytics to closing, optimizing sales cycles, and enhancing the scalability of our revenue operations. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Finance, Order Processing, Sales and Customer Success teams, an exceptional understanding of sales processes, legal contract constructs, and a passion for achieving operational excellence, revenue optimization and delivering exceptional customer service.     Your Responsibilities:

    • Be a critical member of the team that acts as a key enabler of deal structuring and execution with a focus on minimizing sales cycle times while optimizing revenue, profitability, and/or market share based on business priorities.
    • Assist sales in developing deal strategies, help with non-standard deal requests, structuring complex deals, and ensure revenue recognition requirements are effectively managed at all times
    • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Legal during the contract process, providing assistance with drafting, redlining, and negotiating contract terms. Engage in deal reviews with Sales/Sales leadership to support account-level strategy on pricing and deal structuring for various transaction types.
    • Enforce pricing execution and collaborate with Sales leadership on transactional pricing and value positioning. Ensure proper approvals for deal structure, including pricing, discounts, payment terms, etc. Assist Sales with quote creation and proposal drafting, emphasizing value.
    • Conduct monthly reviews with Finance, Legal, and Sales teams to review or address revenue recognition concerns, finance and billing issues, special terms, and pricing for non-standard deals.
    • Review and approve non-standard pricing requests. Ensure all required approvals are obtained and documented. Ensure that all transactions follow internal revenue recognition guidelines and operational guidelines.

    What you will bring:

    • 8-10+ years enterprise software, hardware and service experience (Deal Desk, Finance, Pricing and/or Sales Operations experience preferred)
    • Highly skilled in Salesforce CPQ and Contract Management Software
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex deals.
    • Solid understanding of pricing strategies, contract terms, and revenue recognition principles. Experience in pricing or revenue accounting is a strong plus.
    • Experience with building new processes and procedures from the ground up.
    • Comfortable with working directly with customers and channel partners directly.

    The successful candidate will receive a starting base salary that will range between $135,000/yr to $185,000/yr. As part of your overall compensation package, you will also be offered equity in Nile. The compensation offered for this role will depend on your personal qualifications and experience level. In addition, the total rewards benefits package includes health, dental, and vision coverage, 401K, PTO, competitive equity & compensation packages, free lunch, coffee, and snacks onsite.
