    THE POSITION


    Do you have experience implementing technical human resources procedures? The Pennsylvania Game Commission is looking for a Human Resource Analyst 1 with exceptional work ethic to complete our team of professionals.

    DESCRIPTION OF WORK


    In this role, you will be coordinating time management processes and providing guidance to agency timekeepers in reporting and processing time, attendance, and overtime.

    Work may also include coordinating the review and approval of Leave Without Pay requests.

    This position requires you to maintain an extensive knowledge and understanding of AFSCME and FOP agreements, Commonwealth and agency policies, as well as Personnel Rules to ensure accurate processing of time, attendance, and overtime.


    Additional duties may include:

    • Compiling monthly reports
    • Researching overtime errors
    • Processing salary advances, temporary out of class, and stipend payments
    • Assisting with the onboarding process of new employees
    • Advising supervisors on sick, parental, and family care leave procedures

    Work Schedule and Additional Information:

    • Full-time employment
    • Work hours are 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 45-minute lunch.
    • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

    • One year of experience in the performance of technical human resource duties; and a bachelor's degree; or
    • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
