    ESP Accounts Manager I

    Credentials: High School Diploma, Degree Preferred


    Other Qualifications: This employee must have a minimum of one (1) year of recent accounts management experience, preferably in a school setting. Must have a serviceable automobile for potential travel. Must have excellent communication skills. Must maintain confidentiality. Must meet the health and physical requirements. Must have a genuine liking for and ability to work effectively with children.


    Physical Demands: Must have and maintain physical, sensory, emotional, and mental abilities necessary for effective communication in person, in writing, and by telephone. Must have good memory; be able to organize thoughts and activities; do basic mathematical computations and articulate clearly. Must be able to work occasional nights and weekends, participate in occasional overnight travel, and provide own transportation during performances of duty. Must be emotionally mature and able to appropriately handle stress.


    Essential Job Functions: This employee is responsible for collecting tuition payments and maintaining an acceptable account balance for assigned schools in the Extended School Program (ESP). Other essential job functions include:

    • Process weekly tuition payments for account holders and payers.
    • Exhibit excellent customer service for account holders.
    • Record DHS attendance on a weekly basis for assigned schools.
    • Communicate weekly tuition delinquencies and suspensions with account holders by e-mail and phone for assigned schools.
    • Troubleshoot account related difficulties with account holders.
    • Process ESP vacation requests.
    • Execute weekly invoices to account holders by E-Mail.
    • Assist the ESP Site Directors in identifying financial needs of families in ESP and offering appropriate financial assistance.

    Staff Relationship: Reports directly to the Coordinator of ESP

    Terms of Employment: Twelve (12) months. Non-Exempt.
