Join our team at the contract logistics warehouse in Duisburg, Mount Sidney, VA.

Your role:
As a shift leader (m/f/d), you will take on responsible tasks in the operational warehouse area.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Disciplinary and professional leadership, planning and control of team leaders as well as industrial employees in goods receipt, goods issue and picking
Deadlineoriented control of orders and material flow
Responsibility for compliance with customer agreements and internal process and quality requirements
Support in implementing projects to increase efficiency and quality
Compliance with occupational safety regulations and load securing regulations
Identification of training needs and organization of necessary training measures, as well as partial implementation of various training or instructions

Qualifications you should bring:

Completed training as a master in warehouse management or a similar qualification
Several years of professional and managerial experience in operational logistics, preferably in the ecommerce sector
High understanding of processes and key figures, flexible thinking and acting, as well as a good basic understanding of warehouse processes; knowledge of Lean is desirable
High flexibility regarding working hours and changing areas of deployment, as well as high resilience and willingness to perform
Good knowledge of warehouse management systems and the MS Office package, as well as good knowledge of the English language in spoken and written
