Global Consolidations Senior ManagerLocation:
Atlanta, GA (hybrid)Position SummaryThe Senior Manager of Global Consolidations serves a pivotal role in the monthly close cycle to ensure a successful and accurate closing of the books for both internal and external financial statements.
The senior manager coordinates with regional teams around the world to help solve any issues in reporting and intercompany balances, reviews global allocations and correcting entries, and supervises a team of accountants to consolidate the financial books.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Supervise consolidations team members including providing relevant training and supporting growth through feedback and reviews.
Coordinate and execute the global close to ensure an on-time and accurate completion of the monthly internal and external financials.
Assist with the preparation of the monthly internal management reporting package for the CFO and other finance leadership team members.
Review and approve recurring and adjusting journal entries.Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare and file periodic government/census reports.
Coordinate with regional teams to solve accounting issues and classification questions.
Assist with the ownership of the company's chart of accounts hierarchy and mapping to the external financials.
Prepare the cash flow statement for the company's 10-Q and 10-K filings.
Manage and review the global balance sheet fluctuation review process.
Serve as a point of contact for global results questions from FP&A teams.
Review and prepare SOX internal controls self-testing and documentation of that testing for the consolidations group. Liaise with internal audit to provide access to the controls testing documentation and answer general questions.
Assist external and internal auditors with audit inquiries and testing.
Prepare ad-hoc requests and participate in other projects as needed.
Basic QualificationsMaster's Degree in AccountingActive CPA license5+ years of related corporate accounting experience in a large multinational companyExperience in US GAAP accounting and reportingMicrosoft Excel advanced userAbility to use a variety of software programs and tools to analyze and work with large data sets and accomplish tasks efficientlyStrong analytical skills, ability to research issues in a complex accounting structure to resolve problems; detail-oriented, yet able to identify issues and grasp concepts at broader levelMust be a highly motivated individual with the ability to multi-task while working with a variety of individuals in both team and self-directed environmentsAbility to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with all levels of managementAbility to work within defined time constraints and within deadlines during month end financial close while driving longer-term projects to successful completionPreferred QualificationsExperience with international consolidation accountingInteraction/ presentations with senior managementPublic accounting experienceExperience with Oracle Cloud and Smartview tools#LI-VC1#LI-hybridOffers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job.
