    Job Description


    Your role:


    The Senior Manager of Regulatory Reporting will oversee with the preparation and analysis of Invesco's financial statements and regulatory filings.

    This position will also provide controllership oversight for certain regulated subsidiaries.

    This position partners with Financial Planning & Analysis, Global Business Services and multiple business partners throughout the firm responsible for various financial products and operations of Invesco.

    You will be responsible for:
    Training, developing and mentoring a local financial reporting team and providing guidance to Invesco offshore shared service team
    Executing controllership responsibilities by monitoring operating activities and transactions for reasonableness and assessing accounting implications
    Overseeing the development of operating budgets and forecasts
    Performing ad hoc projects, including performing financial analysis and delivering insights, for business partners
    Partnering with Accounting Policy team to research and develop solutions for technical accounting issues
    Overseeing the preparation of financial data being reported in financial statements and required regulatory filings; including footnote disclosures
    Performing monthly and quarterly regulatory compliance monitoring and administering correspondence directly with industry regulators
    Maintaining the regulatory reporting calendar, coordinate key timelines & deliverables, and proactively manage cross-functional collection of financial data
    Overseeing the analysis of operating performance and preparation of reporting packages for board meetings
    Coordinating resources across Invesco departments to ensure project goals are met
    Maintaining SOX and regulatory compliance control documentation
    Facilitating related audits/reviews by external auditors

    The experience you bring:
    10+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience is required. Public accounting or pubic company reporting experience is preferred
    Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting required
    CPA or equivalent is required
    Must have solid understanding of accounting and financial principles and be able to apply these principles to corporate accounting
    Must have knowledge of SOX requirements
    Knowledge of FINRA compliance requirements is preferred
    Workiva/Oracle/Smartview

    experience is preferred
    Ability to self-motivate and establish personal deadlines
    Ability to process technical accounting concepts and determine their applicability to Invesco and its business units
    Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage a variety of audiences, internally and externally
    Ability to build strong relationships with team and other key constituents
    Ability to quickly grasp and solve complex problems; deal with and manage change in a fluid environment; prioritize multiple competing projects and initiatives and focus resources in line with such priorities
    Display a high degree of interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy with all constituencies; strong leadership and communication skills with team
    Ability to thrive in an environment of change and be open to new challenges and opportunities
    Effective interpersonal skills necessary to effectively collaborate with others
    Strong grasp of technology and systems. Ability to identify ways to leverage technology with a focus on automation and controls
