- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for banquet events, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, according to established recipes and standards.
- Coordinate with the banquet team to ensure timely delivery of food items to event venues.
- Assist in the preparation of mise en place and organization of workstations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations and procedures.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and special event menus.
- Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a banquet or catering environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institution preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and dedication to quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
