Responsibilities

As a construction technician, you will be responsible for bidding, cost calculations, and building permits as soon as a new building, road, or construction project is planned in Atlantic Beach. To ensure that the project is technically sound, you will then create detailed and execution plans, as well as scale models.

In order to construct and plan buildings in a practical way, you will design construction drawings and 3D models using CAD programs. To ensure structural stability and energy efficiency, you will also perform mathematical and physical calculations on the computer and analyze your measurements of properties and terrain.

You will demonstrate leadership and organizational skills as a construction manager: coordinating and supervising construction work and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, deadlines, and budgets. Once all work is completed, you will prepare the final construction invoice and cost analysis.

You will set up the construction site and ensure that employees, machinery, and materials are optimally utilized, while also monitoring safety. With your previous work experience and technical knowledge in construction, you will not only contribute to sustainable development in your environment, but also to your career.
