    We are seeking a dedicated Shelter Advocate to join our compassionate team. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strong customer service skills, empathy, organizational skills, and the ability to navigate through chaotic situations with resilience. As a Shelter Advocate, you will play a crucial role in providing support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse, ensuring their safety, and assisting them on their journey towards healing and independence

    To be successful in this role you should possess the following:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse populations.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and composed during crisis situations, with a commitment to self-care and stress management.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, and holidays, as needed.
