Responsibilities:


  • Prepares xray room
  • Reviews schedules to prepare for clinic
  • Insures clinic computers are up for the day
  • Retrieves patient charts and brings patients to either the xray room or an exam room
  • Performs radiography
  • Logs in all patients receiving xrays
  • Returns digital images in a prompt manner
  • Responsible for maintaining all xray files and handles all requests for xrays
  • Responsible for maintaining radiology equipment
  • Prepare all xrays for patients when requested, files all xrays, cleans equipment and oversees all xray functions
  • Provides excellent patient care
  • Interfaces with Meditech and Shields support as needed
  • Maintains electronic medical records as requested
  • Handles requests by telephone or other means as requested
  • Interacts with staff to insure excellent patient flow and care occurs during clinic hours
  • Provides flexibility in coordinating schedule with practice needs
  • Complete other duties as assigned under the supervision of providers and office management
  • Performs other work related duties as assigned or requested

Qualifications:


  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English
  • Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technology Program
  • Registered by the ARRT (or registry eligible)

Licensed by the State of Massachusetts:

  • ARRT registered within 1 year of hire

$ $40.00 per hour
