More about the role & team

The IT Asset Management Specialist is responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT assets, including hardware and software, from procurement to disposal.

This includes tracking, monitoring, and maintaining accurate records of IT assets, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and license renewals, and providing support for audits and inventory management.

Additionally, this role is responsible for managing the procurement ticket workflow in coordination with the Finance, Information Security, and Legal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including hardware and software, throughout their lifecycle.

·

Monitor and track IT assets, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and company policies.

·

Coordinate with Finance, Information Security, and Legal to ensure timely acquisition and disposal of IT assets.

·

Provide support for audits and inventory management, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

·

Develop and implement processes and procedures for effective IT asset management.

·

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper deployment, maintenance, and disposal of IT assets.

·

Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best pricing and terms for IT assets.

·

Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to IT assets.

·

Process license renewals and track them against the IT budget.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
You will need a minimum of

2 years of experience in IT asset management or procurement, or a related field.

You will need experience working with software and services contracts.

You may have worked as a 'IT Asset Management Specialist, or 'Asset Management Specialist"
