- Create and coordinate staffing on-call rosters for emergency operations.
- Complete intra-agency coordination with various divisions across the state.
- Act as the main point of contact for external vendors for maintenance activity needs.
- Review emergency operation plans, research new technologies, and liaise with the National Weather Service.
- Calibration process for salt and equipment used in snow and ice duties.

Join the Department of Highways/Office of Project Delivery & Preservation/Division of Maintenance as a Transportation Engineer Specialist in Franklin County. As an emergency operations coordinator, you will have a crucial role in maintenance activities within the Transportation Cabinet.
Skills and Experience Required:
Candidates with knowledge of internal-agency structure, GPS, ArcGIS, AVL experience, and equipment for event responses are desired.
This position may require some travel, including to the Emergency Operations Center when necessary.
