- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and provide maintenance for customer requirements.
- Provide initial incident information to the Incident Response Specialty.
- Support end-user hardware failures and re-image customer workstations.
- Detect and resolve basic problems, isolate causes of problems and user errors.
- Troubleshoot and repair IT following Army standards and practices.
- Notify team leader of hardware/software trends and potential problems.
- Test and evaluate software packages with users.
- Provide support on operating computers and software, resolve help center calls.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Military Grades: E5 (SGT) - O4 (MAJ)
- Maintain Kentucky National Guard membership.
- Performance of compatible military position.
- Wear military uniform when required.
- Successful completion of probationary period may be necessary.
- Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
- Must obtain and maintain Security+ Certification within six months.
- MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: Basic knowledge of data processing and general management principles.
- SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least 24 months experience in system analysis and planning.
- Resume must include complete dates, work schedule, and weekly hours worked.
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field OR 2 years of graduate education in relevant areas.
- All education must be in specified fields with a minimum of 24 semester hours.
- Official transcripts are required for education credit.
