    Job DescriptionPosition Summary:

    Responsible for monitoring all clients to ensure that appropriate procedures are being used in accordance with the program compliance requirements.

    Maintain documentation of all client contact and outcomes. Responsible for overall implementation and oversight of services that are directed by the Clinical team for the program.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Acts as a first point of contact for all Program Assistants with regard to departmental questions or concerns.
    • Maintain an accurate count of clients on each shift.
    • Consistently monitor and stay abreast of the whereabouts and activities of all clients for whom he/she is responsible.
    • Perform client searches based on company procedures following their return from the hospital, outside appointment or passes.
    • Ensures that urinalysis tests are performed and documented following company procedures and standard chain of custody protocols following a clients' return from the hospital, outside appointment or passes.
    • Conduct client room searches to ensure program compliance, check for contraband and cleanliness.
    • Coordinate with nursing staff administration of client medications, if applicable.
    • Work with counseling staff to ensure that clients are present for lectures and other activities.
    • Assist Program Assistants with scheduling questions/ concerns and monitors unauthorized overtime.
    • Monitors all shifts to ensure adequate coverage.
    • Maintains accurate timesheets and PTO balance information for Program Assistants.
    • Orders linens and other supplies.
    • Monitors and tracks clients' medication- (3rd Floor ONLY).
    • Works with Clinical Director to review and complete Program Assistant performance evaluations.
    • Acts as a liaison between management, maintenance and clients to ensure that all repairs are addressed.
    • Conduct training for new Program Assistants and provide ongoing training for existing employees.
    • Review Program Assistants' documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Ensure the PA and client adhere to all regulations.
    • Escort clients to all meals.
    • Provide clients with supplies and other needs such as linens and cleaning supplies.
    • Inform clients of any changes that affect them.
    • Maintain documentation in Log Book; transition report, count sheet, room checks, shift report.
    • Inform next shift of all client activities, medical emergencies and client concerns prior to ending shift.
    • Consistently corrects and reports observed disciplinary infractions by clients when appropriate.
    • Perform all duties in accordance with the agency's policies and procedures.
    • Assumes responsibility of facility in the absence of Clinical Staff or Program Directors absence, or as designated.
    • Other Duties as may be required or assigned.
    • De-escalating skills required
