    **We are currently seeking**

    ****Public Areas Attendant****

    Local 1 union position

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    All cleaning of the Lobby Area (Inside/Outside Hotel Perimeter)

    Mezzanine Level (Restrooms, Guest access areas, Guest laundry, back of the house Areas.

    7th floor, guest access areas, Offices, hallways and restrooms.

    40th floor, Guest Access Areas (Gym and Swimming Pool including equipment). Restrooms, hallways.

    Stairwells (Lobby to 13th Floor) Sweep and mop

    Basement Level, back of the house, hallways, restrooms, breakroom, garbage room, offices, etc.

    Handle guest requests, take out trash to dumpster area, fill-out chemical bottles, snow removal,

    power washing, floor care, other areas to be assigned as necessary.

    Lifting and moving heavy equipment and floor care equipment skills are required.

    Successful Candidates will:

    High school education or one plus years related experience.

    Familiarity with hospitality industry practices.

    Provides friendly guest service.

    Familiarity with cleaning techniques, procedures, and brand standards.

    Attention to detail with good organizational skills and efficient time management.

    Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient.

    Ability to satisfy the legal requirements for employment within the jurisdiction.

    **Able to work am/pm & weekend shifts are required.**

    Ability to lift 50 lbs.
