Description
LHH (formerly known as Parker + Lynch) has been engaged in the search for an Accounting Manager with a growing company in Overland Park.
The Accounting Manager role is a great opportunity for someone coming straight out of public accounting or someone who has had progressive corporate accounting experience.
The company is experiencing significant growth and is in a high demand industry.The responsibilities of this position will include managing accounting team members, month end close, monthly consolidated reporting, internal controls, and process improvements.
This person will have one direct report and a total of three people on their team.Responsibilities
Ensure accuracy and uphold internal controls with journal entry and reconciliation review
Assist in accounting process improvements including ERP system testing and implementation
Assist with implementation of new financial reporting requirements and period end financial reporting
Support Risk & Insurance Manager with insurance policies
Weekly vendors change control review
Responsible for driving process to provide due diligence materials during project sales
Assist with internal and external audits
Provide guidance to the AP Supervisor and oversee the accounts payable functions
Review and approve payment disbursements
Miscellaneous projects
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum of four years of professional accounting experience
CPA preferred, but not required
Pay Details:
$100,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
